History
He born in the village Ubaza, municipality of Moniquira, he grew up in the coffee farm of his parent and he help them in the farm permanently. He worked for 23 years at COMFABOY (familiar welfare organization). During these 23 years, he didnt leave the coffee activity. Then after several years and using the money he could save, he decided to buy the farm where he is living today. He is married, and he has 3 children. He has taugh his children about the love to the land. He is currently a member of the Departmental Committee of Coffee Growers of Boyaca with a permanent link to the Federation.
Environmental Care
All the labors in the farm are done by hand. To avoid the contamination of the water sources he doesnt apply chemical pesticides. He has tanks for the descomposition of the organic wastes and pulp. He also has a septic tank for the residual water. The wet milling process is ecologycal so he diminishes the use of the fresh water in this step. He classify and recycle the garbage.
Coffee Processing Information
As the wet milling is done ecologycally, the water is not wasted. The drying process is done in patios.
