History
Samuel is a 45 years old coffee grower. All his life has been dedicated to the coffee crops. 20 years ago he got married with Maria and they have 3 children, which help him in the daily labors of the farm. He bought the farm in 1988. He has been committed with the production of quality coffee. He has been an active member of the community and also the Municipality Committee of Coffee Growers.
Environmental Care
All the farm is 100% shade grown, with Guamos, Galapos and Plantains. He doesnt apply chemical pesticides. All the pulp of the coffee is used as organic fertilizer in the crops.
Coffee Processing Information
The coffee is grown with an average density of 4000 trees per hectare. The fertilization process, pest control, and beans picking is done by hand. The Broca control is entirely cultural. He is replacing the old trees with new ones. The wet milling is done ecologycally. He only uses clean water for the washing.
