In 1992, when the specialty coffee movement has just started, Bahia, Brazil was one of the first specialty regions discovered. Discovered by one of Brazil’s epic specialty coffee leaders, Silvio Leite, who has been studying this coffee region for years, we return to Bahia, specifically the Chapada Diamantina mountain region with the Silvio Leite’s Secret Treasures Private Collection Auction. We hone in even more to a little town called Piatã — with its unique terroir, and the neighboring town called Mucugê.  In 2019, Silvio acquired a small property in Piatã, called “Fazenda Cerca de Pedras São Benedito”.  It is there that he put all his knowledge, experience, and hard work to bring to you very special and exotic flavors.
