Private Collection Auction with

Isla Custom Coffees

Hawaiian Specialty Coffee

The auction will be on March 25th, 2021

After almost a decade of sourcing Hawaiian specialty coffees for clients, Isla Custom Coffees has a deep network of farmers throughout the islands — and a track record of developing top-scoring beans in domestic and international cupping competitions. For this auction, Isla is working with about 15 of its best producers, including winners in the Roaster’s Guild Coffees of the Year Competitions (COTY), the Hawaii Coffee Association’s cupping competitions, and the Kona Coffee Festival Cupping Competitions. The expected result: about 15-20 auction lots grown in the Kona, Ka‘u, and Oahu regions. Featured varieties are Maragogype, SL34, Geisha, Yellow Caturra and Typica. Some will highlight innovative processing methods, such as anaerobic yeast fermentations dried as natural, honey, and washed coffees. The selection also will include certified-organic beans, as well as the producers’ best lots of traditional washed coffees.
