CENAPROC 1257 History Genoveva Condoris farm covers ten hectares of land at an elevation of 1641 meters above sea level. Six hectares of the richly forested land are planted with Criollo and caturra coffee. Genoveva and her husband are members of CENAPROC, a producers association located in Caranavi and comprised of 85 families. CENAPROCs farms cover 760 hectares of mountain slopes with natural shade ranging in altitude from 1.400 and 1.700 masl. Each family has an average of 9-10 hectares. Quality Practices Ripe cherries are hand harvested from June to November. Depulping is done daily, immediately after harvest. Wet milling is done centrally at CENAPROCs plant. Depulped coffee is fermented for 18 hours and washed with clean water from mountain springs. The coffee is then pre-dried in the sun on drying patios and final drying is done mechanically in pre-heated tanks with natural gas.
