Bessie de Giron is got married with Francisco Giron Salazar, is a Medical Doctor by choice, coffee producer by heart. His love and passion for coffee goes back a very long way. It starts at an early age when he accompanied his mother, Francisca, during its properties harvesting which coincidentally took place at the same time his end-of-year vacation did. He is now 92 years old and lives with the love of his life, his wife Bessie. He has become the leader and most admired character of this family, passing on a legacy of wisdom and inspiring stories of how coffee production made him the man he is now. His kindness and humbleness are believed to be, to this day, his most remarkable qualities. This lot of coffee was carefully selected at the early stage of the crop, from the highest altitude where Bourbón variety conform the plantation. The cherries were let ripped in the tree, until the most brilliant dark red color was acquired, then picked by hand for selection.
