LA LUISA In 1929, Don Clarindo Vargas taking a great risk he acquired a small dairy near his home. He once again risks all twenty years later, exchanging the dairy for a small extension of coffee growing fields in San Isidro, located in West Valley Region and with a few knowing about the cultivation of coffee, he begins a great ongoing family tradition, of the cultivation of fine coffee. Thirty years passed before Don Clarindo could see the fruits of his labor. He founded Beneficiadora Santa Eduviges in 1959; La Luisa, one of the 11 farms of the whole group; it covers approximately 97 hectares of land. La Luisa begins and grows over the decades until blossoming into one of the worlds leading gourmet coffee producers focused on maintaining and improving the quality of the coffee.
