NAME AND LOCATION OF THE FARM:
Farm La Carolina, is located in Las Nubes region, Dipilto municipality in the department of Nueva Segovia. The farm is very good height with ideal climatic conditions for coffee crop quality and excellent rainfall.
TELL US THE FARM HISTORY:
Farm La Carolina was acquired 15 years ago and has a total area of 18 manzanas of land* which 15 manzanas of land productive coffee, and 2 manzanas of land to coffee in development to be held this year sow. It produces an estimated 250 QQ green coffee of Maracaturra, Caturra and Yellow Catuai varieties. To adjust shadow we have Orange, Avocado, Buraco, Guava.
FAMILY GENERATIONS:
Since I've got the farm my whole family involved and in one way or another everyone contributes to the development of the same. My family consists of 9 members including 6 women and 3 men
WHICH IS YOUR SECRET FOR WINNING THE COMPETITION?
The secret lies in its sophisticated handling is given to the property, and the proper treatment of coffee, watching the perfect ripeness, degree of fermentation, washing and all handling in wet mill
HOW DO YOU FEEL OF BEEN ONE OF THE WINNERS?
First I am very happy to get to be a winner because it has been a struggle as producer and the family itself, working together.

The money raised will invest in improving the farm, improve the infrastructure to provide conditions for people working in the farm.

I participated for five years and four years I have been the winner. In 2002, then in 2010, in 2012 and 2015 during the event obtaining 10th place
