Jhoimar Afranio Enciso Villamil is a 28-year-old young man who has grown up amid the coffee plantations that surround his hometown Gaitania (Tolima). After graduating from high school, he left aside his dream of studying aviation to fully devote himself to coffee growing.
In spite of being raised and educated thanks to the coffee production and purchase by his parents, it was barely 12 years ago that Jhoimar Afranio began seeing the coffee sector as a sustainable project of life. He started as a buyer and then devoted his days to coffee growing, an activity that now ranked it among the top 10 of the country, being the first time he takes part in the competition.
In his community, he is known as a kind and working young man who has bet on coffee quality, what has allowed him to provide a better quality of life to his family, made up of his wife and two daughters.
This competition allowed Jhoimar Enciso to confirm that “the effort and dedication lead to excellence.”
