Its name comes from a hawk “EL HALCÓN” that lives and cares for the farm. Every morning opens its wings and extends over the coffee planting. This farm is planted with Caturra variety and does not have much shade; this allows the hours of light are greater in this microlot.
The Monte Copey coffee is produced by the Navarro family on their farm in the Valley of Dota in the Tarrazú Region.
To ensure traceability and the quality of our cherries we taught the coffee collectors to pick up only the mature beans and handle good practices of milling. This is the fifth year in being among the finalists of Costa Rica Cup of Excellence.
