Wilson is Edith Enciso’s husband, the first women winning the Cup of Excellence 2006. He is part of a coffee growers family who had their first farm in Quindio region where Wilson and his wife started in the coffee production. Eventually, they decided to become independent and in 2002 got their first farm, La Isla, located in Planadas, Tolima.
Wilson and his wife share tasks at the farm, he is in charge of the picking and depulping process of the cherries and she is in charge of the processing and drying. In 2005 he participated with his father’s coffee from the farm in Quindio region getting the 33th place. A year later he decided to participate again with his wife, one lot each from his farm La Isla where his wife gets the first place.
Wilson and his family enjoy their work and they have instilled this love for coffee to their children to whom they have given each a lot of coffee so they can learn and continue with this beautiful work. Their recognition as great producers is due to their effort that as family they put in the production of their coffee which keeps encouraging them to be part of these events.
