NAME AND LOCATION OF THE FARM:
Farm El Porvenir is located in the town of Dipilto, Nueva Segovia properly in La Laguna # 1 community, with an average height of 1,260 masl. The name of the farm is due to the expectation that the producer had a goal of improving their quality of life and that of his family from the farm and especially coffee cultivation. On this farm it is given special care especially to the ground where it joins the rest of the crop such as pulp where we are given a special treatment for decomposition which is added to the coffee plantations as organic fertilizer.
TELL US THE FARM HISTORY:
In 1999 I started to cultivate the first coffee plants on an area of 3 manzanas of land* and later a neighbor sold 4 manzanas of land more to enlarge the area of coffee cultivation. On the estate it has been cultivated varieties Yellow Catuai, Caturra and Maracaturra. Currently the average production prowls around 100 quintals of green coffee of the 7 manzanas of land with that account. In the plantation also bananas are planted to provide shade and also generating income for the family, another species used for shade in coffee plantations are citrus, avocado and white Guaba
FAMILY GENERATIONS:
The farm is owned since 1999, this is handled by an administrator who gives technical guidance about the agronomic management of the coffee, directly from the farm the 5 members of the family of the mill.
WHICH IS YOUR SECRET FOR WINNING THE COMPETITION?
Mainly the potential of the area in terms of agro-climatic conditions, good soil and good water sources, to this is added the work of fertilization that has been given, the presence of good varieties present within the property and determined special handling in terms of purely selective cutting of ripe cherries, proper fermentation and a good grain drying.
HOW DO YOU FEEL OF BEEN ONE OF THE WINNERS?
Happy because I'm seeing the achievement of the work efforts being made on the farm, mainly in obtaining good prices.
IN WHAT YOU WILL BE INVESTING PROFIT TO BE OBTAINED FROM ELECTRONIC AUCTION?
Improved farm infrastructure, purchase of a motor and pulping machine and will also invest in other farm livestock.

Yes, but I had not achieved any place.
