Jairo’s father acquires the farm in 1959 and in 1984 creates the Lopez Agudelo Compañia Limitada society through which the conventional coffee started to be exported until 2014 when together with his brothers take the decision to change the Castillo variety grown for many years for Gesha trees. Jairo explains that with this new lots, they have been allowed to offer superior coffees starting at 87 points and exporting it since 2017.
