About the farm:
The farm El Poste is located in the El Volcan community, Dipilto municipality. The price of the coffee in the 80 was really low and I had to diversify my farm by cultivating other crops and assure an income source. It is already 28 years that I am owner of this farm. I have 8 mz of land for coffee production and this year I harvested 90 QQ. The varieties that I have are: caturra, Bourbón and Arabica.

What is the secret of your success?
First secret: God before all, for gives us the strength for make our work. Second secret: To select only the ripe coffee bean, to de-pulp it the harvest, to wash it good and natural fermentation.
How do you feel being a winner of the Cup of Excellence Nicaragua 2010?
I feel proud and happy since I participated for the first time in my life and I had the luck to have won an award thanks to the God and to the cuppers who ranked well my coffee.
