MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: The Coffee Academics

The Coffee Academics is a chain of boutique cafes that started in Hong Kong in 2012. It was one of the first cafes serving specialty coffee in Hong Kong and they strive to maintain their position as the leading purveyor of specialty coffee in Hong Kong. They have also expanded to Singapore and China.

To date, they have 10 locations in Hong Kong, 3 in Singapore, and 2 in China with a total staff of 60. The Coffee Academics serve a variety of customers with an emphasis on customers who recognize quality and corporate clients purchasing coffee for office consumption.

The Coffee Academics view COE coffees as the “crème-de-la-crème” and believe that serving COE helps their customers identify the best quality coffee available. By using COE coffees in their business, The Coffee Academics can share information about the coffee and the producers with their customers.
