In July 2000 the Gómez Chaves family decided to buy a farm to our neighbors of Finca El Centro, at that time my wife and I decided to put La Sur “The South”, that means a state of light, which is a state of intelligence from truths, and thus an interior state; for light (and with the light intelligence and wisdom)
The state of light that give us this farm is very special to our family because our passion for coffee grows day by day from generation to generation, began with the Gómez Gómez family, then Gómez Zamora, then Gómez Víquez and now Gómez Chaves. Nowadays we have 5 grandchildren; Luciana, Daniela, Milton Antonio, Juan José and Matías Antonio that we want to plant the seed of coffee in their hearts and be part of this interior state of being coffee producers of the Central Valley.
This farm is located in Getsemani, San Rafael, Heredia, and we are very honor with this 2nd place of COE. Please join us in this coffee adventure and be part of the Gómez tradition.
