The coffee tradition of Henry Jr transcends from his great-grandparents, so making the decision to continue the legacy of his family and decides in 2014 cultivate a field with varieties that behave very well in the climate of the region.
This farm is Tierra Prometida, when he was a child, his father refered to this region of Dota with this name “Promised Land”.
The Navarro family for generations has been dedicated to the production of coffee, but it was not until 2009 that we switched from a traditional way of producing to a more specialized one. This meant to start to process the beans in our farm and change all practices on the farm to improve the quality of our coffee considering the excellent conditions such as altitude, climate, varieties and soils that our farm has to produce excellent quality.
The coffee is picked 100% ripe and is processed in the ecologic micromill Monte Copey. The farm and mill are within 1900 meters of altitude, located strategically in the center of the plantation, where the best varieties are grown.
Working micro lots require very strict management and control in order to ensure the excellent quality, plus a very well developed special sun drying process.
The whole family gets involved in the production process. Our dedication and passion is reflected in the cup and we enjoy giving the highest quality to our customers.
