Two different farms, located in the West Valley region of Costa Rica , form this lot. Café Altura de San Ramón combined these two coffees and by Anaerobic Fermentation obtain the wonderful flavors you will find in its cup.
ANPELES NORTE: Marco Vinicio Rojas has been working in coffee since he was a child. It has been a family activity and he started helping his father many years ago and now he is the owner of Los Ángeles Farm. When Marcos’ father bought this property, it was planted with pasture for cattle. A year after they got the farm, they decided to plant coffee instead. The first plants are 20 years old and every year they renovation part of the farm. The farm is situated at 1550 m.a.s.l and the varieties cultivated are Caturra, Catuaí and Villa Sarchí.
PATA DE GALLO: Guillermo Ramírez Rojas has been into the coffee activity for 50 years. At the beginning the farm belonged to his wife’s family. Ten years ago, Guillermo bought the farm. The plantation is 20 years old and they also renew part of it every year.
