We own this finca since 1800, my father Antonio Martínez Ruíz inherited with the finca. He exported to Germany most of his coffee, but me and my brothers begun to sell it in Mexico . We want to export again one part of the production; the rest is for selling at my coffee shop because we want to offer to Mexicans coffee of prime quality. I roast the coffee and take care of the preparation in the coffee bar. These lands are the heritage for my daughter Alejandra, who has enjoyed this beautiful place and now she is taking care of the land.
We are very happy to know that the Coatepec region has been much acknowledged. We will produce with the same quality each year and we will pay more attention to every aspect during the process related to the production to the trade. We will promote more the value of the coffee for the society, the ecology and the culture of the region. Winning this award is an aim for keep producing coffee. We are very proud; this is a work of many generations dedicated to coffee.
