History of the Farm:
Sítio da Serra is located in the municipality of Carmo de Minas, a region considered the land of the best coffees in Brazil, in the micro-region and terroir denominated Mantiqueira de Minas – Indication of Source (IP).
Sítio da Serra is part of the familial groupknown as “Sítio da Torre” from Carmo de Minas. Our coffees are harvested and transported to the patio for drying two times per day, going through the washer and being spread immediately, as we believe that our coffees, when handled well in the post-harvest, can have extraordinary qualities.
Our great concern is about the quality of the coffees we produce, and we are always thinking about the preservation of the environment, as in a mountainous region like ours, the conservation of the flora, fauna, springs, and natural forests only makes us feel better in our endeavor.
