Name and Location of the Farm:
Jesus Mountain, the Farm is located in the Cerro de Jesus which is the third highest of Nicaragua , with an altitude of 1,793 mosl, in the Municipality of Jalapa, in the Community Buena Vista Chiquita, to 12 Km to the North from Japala City. Coordinates: North Latitude 13° 57´ 45.12´´, West Longitude 86° 10´ 06.86´´
The Farm has contributed to the Community with donation of land and construction of a school that is use by the Education Minister to elementary education from community children.
The Farm has an average extension of six hundred Apples of Land, from this 180 are of Coffee Plantation, 20 from Infrastructure and four hundred of forest that allow having a caudal in the birth of Rio Lindo affluent of the Rio Coco.
The Farm History:
The farm was founded on 2000, starting to cultivate a coffee area of 10 Apples of land and continue to working with passion, focuse on high quality coffee, achieving to cultivate coffee in 180 Apples of land and 400 are forest.
Currently, from the 180 Apples of land 105 are productive coffee, 75 are growth coffee and 10 are in renewal. The farm harvest average is 2,400 Quintals, of the varieties of Caturra, Catuai, Catimor, Pacamara and Tekisic.
Family Generations:
Is formed by a partnership of two families Michael Atherton and Bing Kir.
