Overview
The farm is located between Dota and Tarrazu mountains, 1850-1900 meters above sea level, and it has 2 hectares. The variety has been red catuai for the last 12 years. Before that, it was pasture land. It has belonged to the family since 1998. Although we have worked in coffee for 30 years, it is the first time we achieve to participate in Cup of Excellence. With the purpose of following more closely the process of our coffee, we opened our own micromill 2 years ago, La Montana de Tarrazu. This is a family business in which each member of the family has put their time, work and love for coffee, and we try it to be a coffee of excellence.
