History of what is now Mileydi farm: I started to plant coffee with only 16 years, I planted a thousand of pacamara plants, at that time I didn´t know anything about any coffee just took the pacamara because I liked it for its large grains.
With time I planted more coffee because I could not plant enough with poverty I was living, but thanks God I sowed the best and eventually I bought a pulper and pulped by hand, then I bought a little motor and to take the coffee I occupied horses since that is what I have. Sometimes at night carrying loads and so with efforts I have been repairing stuffs, I made African beds to dry the coffee.
I got married, I have three children who are the ones who motivate me to follow so that they do not pass the same that me. I have been acquiring knowledge thanks to the Engineer Raúl Rivera, in 2016 participated in the event of origin and managed to win first place and in 2017 also after already supported by the cupper and friend Rafael Díaz, who cupped my coffee I participated in the Cup of Excellence getting to get presidential coffee, wining second place, last year and this year I managed to win thanks to the support of the main members of the mill and laboratory of Santa Rosa farm, and I will be participating waiting for me to do well.
