Our family emigrated from Ayabaca to San Ignacio in the 60's and at that time we only dedicated ourselves to cattle ranching. Then the climate changed and we started growing coffee in the 90's and our whole family has grown in coffee. Ihuamaca coffee has always been recognized for its quality, my brother Silvio came to 2nd place in the national contest and since 2016 we sell coffee to Intelligentsiacoffee, which is a relationship we appreciate very much because it helps us meet our needs and our work is well rewarded.
