The farm Las Nubes, this one located in Dipilto, Nueva Segovia in Old Dipilto location. Merely in the border with Honduras . Geographically this placed in a strategic place because born many waterholes which turn into rivers down below of the property. In turn the level of rain is abundant. The fertile soils it possesses great quantity of organic matter which reflects in the coffee a nutritional vitality.
Tell us the story of your Farm:
The farm has a history of many years, since this property was from my grandfather, but yet in the eighties was confiscated by the government. This area was a war zone, which made it very difficult to enter. In the 90 achievement purchase 50 acres of what was the original farm. By this time there was no farm, and all I had were signs of what was once a farm. Its more the roads were gone. I touch my ways to do so to gain access to the farm. . Since then I have dedicated to the production of high quality coffee, which Ive been through lot of effort and hard work. The farm has about 25 blocks planted with coffee, which are in production. I have approximately 30 acres of virgin forest, which is protected from predators. The annual production of the farm is approximately 600QQ, which are 50QQ hybrid variety and the rest is Katymore.

What is your secret for winning the competition?
Besides having a variety of high quality, success is doing things right. On cultivate good coffee and harvest at the appropriate point, which is when the grain is red and not exceeded. In turn the process of pulping, washing and drying must be according to the Specs of quality controls, strict quality control and hygiene can produce a high quality product.
How do you feel to be a winner?
The feeling is of joy, be recognized as a producer of excellence is an honor for the hard work and sacrifice that you make during the year. This work is not only during the crop but a work of several years.
