My father gave me a small portion of the land of 3 Manzanas (2.1 hectares) and I started to cultivate coffee, I wasn´t able to study because I had no money and the school was very far away. I had no choice than cultivating coffee. Thank God the coffee cultivated in my farm Valle del Sol is one of the best coffees this year and I hope to have a good price because on that relies the future of my wife and my two daughters. The preparation of the specialty coffees is very hard in the mountain areas where we live. We transport the coffee in horses to areas where the cars can reach. The specialty coffee is prepared with a lot of care and the storage is made in our small warehouses. We hope in God this year we can have a better price for our coffee, my hope is to give a better future to my daughters, study, and education that I couldn´t have that opportunity.
