Rio Arriba, se encuentra ubicada en el municio de PAlencia, departamento de Guatemala . A tan solo 50 km de la cuidad. Tiene un area total de 100 ha, de las cuales 40 ha son dedicadas al cultivo del cafe; el resto de la finca son bosques naturales de pino, cipres y encino.
La plantacionde cafe se establecio entre los anos 2004 y 2008. LAs variendades de cafe que se cultivan en Rio Arriba son Caturra y Bourbn. Cuenta con la caracteristica que los arboles de sombra son arboles que crecen en la zona, con lo cual hemos logrado mantrener la biodiversidad de la zona, creando un microclima muy particular. la temperatura promedio es de 24 grados centigrados y tiene una precipitacion anual de 1800 mm.
La epoca de cosecha es de enero a abril y la produccion promedio anual de la finca es de 500 qq pergamino.

The coffee plantation was stablished among the 2004 and 2008. The varieties of coffee that can be found at Rio Arriba are Caturra and Bourbn. The shadow for those varieties are trees that grown in the zone, it helps us to maintain the biodiversity, at the same time, this shadow creates a very particular microclimate. The temperature is 24° and the annual precipitation is about 1,800mm. The harvest season is from January to April and the annual production of the farm is 500qq parchment coffee.
