History
I married my husband when I was 14 years old. We both come from this area. Unfortunately my husband passed away 5 years ago and now I live in the farm with my younger son. I had 4 boys but the three oldest ones are now living in another towns. I live from the coffee and all my life I have been in the coffee business.
Environmental Care
Apart of coffee, I have in the farm sugar cane, plantains, yucca, and fruits. As the farm is totally shade grown, you can see many biodiversity and wildlife in the area, specially birds. The farm has natural source of fresh water and also receives water from the Municipality aqueduct.
Coffee Processing Information
As all the members of my community, I only pick the riped beans, the wet milling process is done in the traditional way. I sell my coffee through the purchase point of the cooperative of Norte de Santander
