Overview:
Cultivated at Finca Santa Rosa Buenos Aires Huehuetenango by the 4th generation of the Alfaro family, this lot represents a sample of our production at an elevation of 3,000 to 6,000 feet above sea level and produced under strict environmental conditions like; using indigenous shade trees and a corridor for the preservation of flora and fauna.
The limestone composition of our mountains and the hot air coming from the Tehuantepec peninsula in Mexico provides the farm with a unique environment for specialty coffee production which complemented with the best agricultural practices produces a complex mix of sweetness and acidity.
We hope our lot will be the representation of the special characteristics of our region as well as the work and commitment from the owners and the people who works at the farm.
