Overview
Mr. Minor Leiva Nunez, is a coffee producer, hes been a farmer his whole life and has been working the land since he was a kid. He has 4 brothers and all of them has been taught by their mom and dad, the farming business and have dedicated their lives to been growers and especially coffee. El Pedregal is a farm that Mr. Leivas inherit from his mother and his mother from her father; so from generation to generation they have been handing down the land as well as their coffee producing spirit and passion. The land is an area that has big mountains of rocks, there for the name El Pedregal, which they have worked and cared for since they were kids. Their mother would bring them lunch to the farm and they would sit on the rocks and have their lunch. Mr. Leiva is actually a member of the Asociacion de Agricultores La Violeta de Desamparados, which has an ecological micro mill. This micro mill processes about 2000 fanegas per harvest, which allows a special treatment and guarantee the traceability from the plantation, thru the harvest, the milling and drying processes to the storage and exportation of the coffee.
