Located in a privileged area for coffee production, with fertile, high- elevation lands, Fazenda Brejinho, rigorously controls the harvest and post-harvest processes.
All the work is mechanized and done by trained workers under the constant and direct supervision of the owners.
The farm has Certifica Minas certification, which guarantees to the consumer that the properties adopt good agricultural practices at all stages of production, conforming to environmental and labor standards.
The property also participates in Fair Trade, which has the objective of creating a partnership between producers and consumers to increase their access to the market and create new opportunities.
It is a member of the 4C Association, an association that is the leading multi-stakeholder sustainable coffee platform, guiding the mainstream sector toward more sustainable production in a non-competitive arena where all relevant stakeholders are enabled to participate.
Maria José’s love for the land was inherited from her father, who began planting at the beginning of the 20th century. Administration is shared with her husband, Mr. Adelino Semboloni, together with their children, and although they do not work directly on the property, they always have suggestions and new technologies.
