Overview:
I was born in Santana Boyaca the 13th of October of 1968. When I was one year old my parents bought a farm in the Village of Batatal in the municipality of Berbeo Boyaca, where I lived until the age of 10 years. Soon my parents moved for the city of Bogota where they stayed. when I was twenty years old I returned to live to Berbeo with my godmother, there I met Ciro Antonio Vargas with whom I went away to live together at the age of 24 years, we rented a farm called La Esperanza, and after a year of hard work we could buy; we ask for a credit in the agrarian bank to seed our first 13,000 coffee plants that were the base to maintain the family who is composed by my husband and my four children, three guys and one girl. Today we have 3.5 hectares in coffee that we have being renovating. My biggest yearnings are to keep growing coffee and to have the ability of get my incomes better and to improve the live hood of my family. My dreams are projected to always see my children as professionals but making them to never forget love for the fields that the field is providing them everything to make reality their dreams. With the coffee I became a recognized person in the municipality as an example of work and prevalence since the time is passing, we have suffer a lot of crises in personal matters and as much economic; but we always have getting ahead I hope to the future to count with family together.
