LA MONTANA This farm is located in the Tarrazu region, at 1420 meters above the sea level. This farm has belonged to the Calderon family by two generations, in 1999 the production began with a small part of the farm but with time it has become the most important economic activity for the family. The 2 hectares of extension are used to produce caturra and catuai coffee of the varieties. They use an 80% of organic fertilizer; trees like the cedar and poro are seeded in order to oxygenate the land.
