History of the farm:
The farm was created on an area of land with all the characteristics for planting coffee: good soil, elevation, cold weather; catuí and catucai were chosen for their resistance to pests and for being better adapted for our climate. Over time, the coffee plants that did not produce with quality or quantity were substituted by others of the same species thus creating a uniform plantation targeting quality and productivity. Today Sítio Primavera maintains several patios with covered areas like greenhouses, the harvest is selective with the coffee cherry being picked, the dry beans are monitored very carefully avoiding dew and other adversities of time.
Coffee processing system:
The coffee is processed with the wet method, remaining in the trough for between 18 and 24 hours, then going to the patio where it is spread as thinly as possible until all the water evaporates, then the layer is raked according to the space of the patio until reaching the specified humidity and is later bagged and taken to the warehouse to await final processing.
Concern about quality:
Achieving perfection is our goal, we are working accordingly, we constantly promote courses for our workers and we follow the day to day operation of our plantation. We are also investing in the renovation of our patios.
