He was born in December 6th of 1946, in Narino Department, Samaniego Municipality, he is sixty-four years old and he is married and has 11 sons; The Coffee farm was acquire in company with his wife and sons, and this is the reason that makes Mr. Melo to continue working at his farm, it is the only way he has to maintain and to provides his family a way to educate and to offer a dignified manner to live; always searching improve their life hood. Las Cochas farm is located 12 kilometers away of Samaniego city, the farm is protected by native plants of the zone. His farm is a traditional farm and he has done his process in a traditional facility, drying his coffee by sun. This Coffee grower participate actively in the journeys that the community make for reforestation and other labors relative to the care of the environment, and also about social issues and techniques practices for coffee.
