La Granadilla, located in El Cangual, were the main product of the region is coffee with a strong potential for specialty coffees. A number of vegetation such as: Pine, Oak, Southern white oak, sweetgum tree, wild berries and fauna such as: Lowland pacas, rabbits, white tail deer, fresh water crabs and a wide variety of birds. In the region there are various associations such as AHPROCAFE, Parent Teachers Association, Protestant and Catholic churches. The coffee beans are harvested when they are ripe by family and part time workers. Omar began growing a very small lot in 1995 and he now has almost 2 hectares. About his family? Omar lives with his wife, his daughter and baby boy. What is the secret of his success?
