Farm located in the community of Las Nubes Dipilto to 17 km from the header departmental Ocotal with height of 1350 meters above sea level with mara and caturra coffee varieties with a shade management of 70% also have two streams and two slope own with a forest reserve, 5 blocks I have a mill wet that pulping per day 160 in a time of 2 hours, handling the uptake performed using filters to good management.
Tell us the story of your Farm:
I bought my Farm with a sale of land of my fathers legacy Andres Figueroa in 1980, I started to work in 1986, obtaining bank financing to plant 17 acres of coffee in total occurring as about 300 quintals four seasons ago and I had won the competition cup of excellence achieved several places.
What is your secret for winning the competition?
For me it was good management in cutting and pulping time to time specially in the dry pulping after to move wet delivery by dry milling time.
How do you feel to be a winner?
I am happy because God has blessed me all my effort has blessed my family and the company also benefits us our coffee as my farm workers.
What do you think of the Cup of Excellence?
This competition helps us learn about coffee and improve the economy of our country giving knowing Nicaragua offers good coffee as well as our town.
