This is a coffee growing zone with a range of temperature between 12 and 21°C, and rainfall of 1,200 to 2,400mm/year. It is considered a zone for Special coffees. It is next to the National Park of Santa Barbara Mountain, PANAMOSAB.

His family begins growing coffee, and with hard work he became independent and now grows a 2 hectare lot. His immediate family consists of his wife and two kids.
