Name and Location of Farm:
San Francisco Farm is located in the El Suyatal community, Macuelizo at 1325 mosl in Honduras -Nicaragua border, the farm has three water sources around the farm with a variety of natural shade of the area, with a shade percentage of 70%. The varieties that I cultivate are Caturra, Mara and Pacamara
Tell us the story of your Farm:
It was an inheritance from my parents in 1980 with an area of 25 blocks, 14 blocks with production, those blocks I work with my sons since 1990 because in that time I went to Honduras refugees for the war since then my farm work with bank financing.
What is your secret for winning the competition?
My secret always been washing my coffee in a timely and delivers to the dry mill the same day.
How do you feel to be a winner?
First, I thank God for giving me this great opportunity also I fell happy for this great merit to have a good coffee in Nicaragua , also I thank to Beneficio Las Segovias because always consider as an small producer.
What do you think of the Cup of Excellence?
It has been very important for us because this program benefit small and medium producers and we sell our coffee to get best prices
