Dohorerabarimyi means relieve the burden of coffee farmers. The cooperative was created in 2010 by small coffee farmers. Other motivations behind the creation of the cooperative were to: ü Increase revenue and its members by producing specialty coffee, ü Develop more complementary activities to coffee farming.
The cooperative built the washing station in 2013. During the year 2014, the cooperative adhered in the Union of the cooperatives of coffee growers known as COCOCA’ because of the services it renders to its members. It counts for the moment 208 actual members who forward their productions in their conversion facility among which 187 men and 21 women.
All these are small holder coffee farmers. They themselves deliver their cherries to the washing.In 2017, thanks to the good will of cooperators and facilitation of COCOCA, the cooperative was fairtrade certification under the ID above-mentioned. The cooperatives counts more than 860 non members but that supply their productions to the cooperative among them 175 are women.
