Name and Location of the Farm:
The farm (LA ESPERANZA) is located in the Municipality of Mozonte in a place known as
El Pinabete to an altitude of 1400-1500 mosl, in the Mountain Range Dipilto-Jalapa a
protected forest area. A waterfall of 2 meters, which start on the farm and is a tributary of
the river Mozonte.
LA ESPERANZA was a purchase I made in year 1990, I began to sow 10 Mz. of coffee with
my own effort, and with horses was moved the green coffee to Ocotal, in the year 1996 I
got into politics and I let a little abandoned the farm but now I’m putting it more technic and
achieving production of 200 Quintals of green coffee, varieties that I have are Pacamara
and Among other crops we have are oranges, tangerines and orchard, these consume my

What is your secret for winning the competition?
First was because my coffee has all the attributes expected by the type of area where my coffee is. The cutting handled it well and wash time. Wet milling and save it on the bags at the time.
