Joaquin is a second generation coffee producer who has been in this industry for more than
45 years. Three years ago thanks to his son who is cup taster, Joaquin decided to implement some improvements which brought him to participate in other contests and access to other auctions. What he enjoys the most of producing quality coffees is participating in different contests, showcase his coffees and sell them for a better price.
He plans to grow other varieties such as bourbon, Gehsa and Tabi. One of the biggest challenges is having the resources to keep his coffee trees in good conditions.
