Overview:
Las Nubes farm is a property in which coffee is grown since the 1930s, especially Bourbón variety planted. In the year of the eruption of Santa Ana volcano had a shower of ash that affected the coffee and shade 70 %, also there was a storm which caused significant landslides, so Ernesto and Family had hard work during periods of reconstruction and replanting. From 2004 they decided to return to the organic farming, having the certification of agencies as USDA, NOP and JAS. The lot chosen proved to have a strong potential, with good agronomic development and allowed to fully ripen, cutting it by hand and selecting the best fruit. With the storm Agatha in June 2010 there was considerable destruction of access roads and internal farm, as obtained from the Cup of Excellence Auction will go entirely to the reconstruction of roads.
