The farm is located in Santa Rosa of León Cortes, at 1900 meters above sea level. This farm has several privilege characteristics that benefit the coffee crop: perfect climate, the position of the sun, the slow maturation which allows the better concentration of coffee attributes, varieties adapted to our elevation (Caturra, red Catuai, Moka, Bourbón, Gesha and Typica); rich soils in organic materials and good agronomical practices.
This farm is named after its former owner who had a “trapiche” (a mill used to elaborate sweet caps from sugar cane). We decided to keep this singular name because it reflects a familiar and national tradition.
This farm belongs to Agrícola Agrinava Society formed by father and son with the same goals of producing high quality coffee.
