The Coffee washing of BUTEMBA is gaining strong experience in producing coffee of good quality. This is obtained by working with farmers and developing awareness of the importance of the importance of good quality of coffee. Farmers are happy of the premiums they receive. Therefore, they are fully committed to continue this adventure of searching good quality of coffee. Together, with them we shall always stay at a good position in Cup of Excellence competition. In the last COE, we took the 10th position. Our main objectives are:
- produce fully washed coffee of good quality
- help farmers produce good quantity with good quality of cherries
- Create job on coffee washing station area for women and young people
