Fredy Orlando Perez is a dreamer; usually sit under a tree after a long day's work in his coffee farm La Arada, in the village the Caona, San Andrés in the department of Lempira.
Fredy is a small producer of coffee continues the family tradition of agricultural production, in addition to coffee is dedicated to the production of cattle, corn and beans.
Due to the difficult situation that lived some years, Fredy decided to immigrate to the United States for a few years to save some money that in return invested to plant coffee farm and the improvements needed to improve the coffee processing.
This was the first participation in COE and participated with Catuai variety his farm is at 1700 meters above sea level. Fredy is a visionary producer and manages his farm conventionally two fertilizations per year. Thanks to the height of his farm, pests and diseases have not attacked it.
His first concern is the welfare of his family and hopes to educate and train their young daughters so that when they grow up to become professional and continue the family tradition of producing high quality coffee.
