Overview
El Halcon farm is located at La Bandera de Dota, at the highest mountains of Tarrazu, at 1850 meters above sea level, where the caturra variety praises its best qualities. This particular piece of land has a very special place in our hearts since it was the first lot bought by our father, Enrique Navarro, which he dedicated to coffee on traditional ways taught by our grandparents. This coffee legacy was inherited by the family Navarro Porras, father and son, who take care of the farm and the coffee business.
The farm has a special guardian, a big hawk, which flies above the farm every day taking care of the coffee and protecting it with his magnificent high flight, this is why the farm is called El Halcon. The coffee was processed with mechanical desmulcinage to obtain a semi washed and yellowish parchment and sun dried on African beds.
