Overview:
I was born in Samaniego, Narino on July 16th of 1952. I grew up with my mother and my father, I studied until third grade of elementary school and then I dedicated myself on helping my parents in the labors of the little coffee farm. When I was 37 years old my father died and since then I am in charge of the farm, where I have been renovating the coffee plants and following the recommendations given by the Coffee Growers Committee, always producing the grain taking into account the guidelines of a sustainable agriculture, saving the environment and protecting the wild life. Nowadays my family is composed by my mother, my youngest brother, my wife and my daughter, with whom we work very hard in the different labors of the farm. My dream as a father is to bring up my daughter as a professional and I am sure that when it happens she would be very grateful with me and with the coffee crop because thanks to this dedication, things are possible. As a person, I feel very proud of being a coffee grower because thanks to this, I am recognized, respected and many institutions have me in mind.
