Gleba da Chácara is located in the city of Carmo de Minas, in the Mantiqueira de Minas (Geographical Indication) region, with coffee crops from 1150 to 1250 meters of elevation.
Fourth-generation coffee growers, from a familial group called “Sítio da Torre,” they produce pulped natural (wet method) and also natural coffee (dry method), always focusing on the quality of the coffees, as they are certain that when coffee is well- cared-for from the plantation to post-harvest it will always be “special.”
The harvest is selective and drying is done on cement patios, where they rely on a team of well- trained collaborators, the beans being spread in thin layers and raked several times per day, the coffee lots are numbered and identified in the yard in order to always have traceability for each lot produced.
Preservation of the environment is the main goal of the farm, as it is believed that the integration of man with nature improves mankind.
