Andres is Biologist, Master in Economics and current CQI instructor in Colombia and China. In 2007 he started Colors of Nature, an exporter and research center for producers from different regions in Colombia in order to assist and train them implementing research projects and improve their quality.
Andres decided to become coffee producer and understand closely their needs, this is when in 2013 his farm La Cereza is born in San Agustin, Huila which today works as Colors of Nature research center where 25 people youth between 25 and 29 years old are behind the processes and produces his and other producers’ coffees.
“The idea is to keep participating, this means a lot to the farm and is a honor for the producers working in quality to have the opportunity to showcase this communitary project”.
Andres explains that his Caturra lot had a fermentation process of 48 hours with a controlled temperature of 16oC.
